Abi & Bobby: Growing Older Together

Abi, a member of the community living alone, adopted 10 year-old dog Bobby and, through each other, they both found companionship. When Bobby developed a painful abscess, Dr. Linda Behrns of Crestone Mobile Veterinary Service and the AVMF Veterinary Care Charitable Fund® were there to help.

When Fires Rage, Veterinarians Offer Shelter

When devastating fires roared through Gatlinburg, Tennessee in November last year, Dr. Lindsay Hill and Dr. Susan Sterling from Smoky Mountain Animal Clinic opened their doors and offered free housing and treatment to the many animals needing shelter.
