VPRF/AVMF Veterinary Pharmacology Fellowship

The VPRF/AVMF Veterinary Pharmacology Fellowship is designed to enhance both the number and caliber of trained veterinary pharmacology researchers. One graduate student (MS or PhD) pursuing a career in this field will be selected to receive up to $10,000. Funded by the Veterinary Pharmacology Research Foundation (VPRF) and administered by the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF), this one-year fellowship may be used to support training, stipends, professional travel, or other scholarly activities.

Eligibility 

  • Must be enrolled in a graduate program (MS or PhD) for at least one year at the time of application and be in good standing.
  • Must be enrolled in a US-based academic institution.
  • The student must be a current member of AAVPT.
  • The student’s academic institution, faculty mentor, and two references must provide letters of recommendation.
