This Sweepstakes is governed exclusively by the laws of the United States. You are not authorized to participate in the Sweepstakes if you are not located within the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico. 

1. Eligibility:  The AVMF Survey Sweepstakes (the “Promotion”) is open only to the following: 1) anyone employed in the veterinary field or attending an AVMA-accredited veterinary college who is registered to attend the 2025 AVMA Convention in Washington, DC. Immediate family members (parent, child, sibling and spouse of each) and those living in the same households of each are not eligible Employees, contractors, directors and officers of the American Veterinary Medical Association (“Sponsor”), and their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, distributors, licensees and the advertising, fulfillment, judging and promotion agencies involved in the development and administration of this Promotion (collectively, “Promotion Parties”), and their immediate family members (parent, child, sibling and spouse of each) and those living in the same households of each are not eligible. 
2. Promotion Period:  The Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on July 16, 2025, and ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on July 22, 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). All entries must be received no later than the end of the Promotion Period.
3. How to Enter:  There are two (2) methods to enter the Sweepstakes: (1) During the Promotion Period, individuals who scan the QR code or visit www.avmf.org/Together receive electronic survey invitations from AVMF, participate in the survey, and provide their email addresses, and contact information will be entered into the drawing. (2) Alternate Method of Participation: You are NOT required to participate in the survey in order to participate in the Sweepstakes or win a Prize. Individuals who have received a survey invitation but do not participate in the survey may submit an entry by providing their email address to guresti@avma.org with “AVMF Survey Sweepstakes” in the subject line, or via postal mail by mailing their name, address, phone number, and email to: AVMF 1931 N. Meacham Rd., Suite 100, Schaumburg, IL 60173, with “AVMF Survey Sweepstakes” written prominently on the envelope. LIMIT ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON. Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry method or entering more than the number of times permitted will void all entries and result in disqualification. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules.
4. Prize Drawing: After the end of the Promotion Period (estimated to be August 1, 2025), a random drawing will be conducted from among all eligible entries received during the entire Promotion Period. 
5. Prizes, Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) & Odds: Five (5) Prizes will be awarded consisting of AVMF branded fleece jackets. Total ARV of all prizes is $250.  No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of prizes is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. If a prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All federal, state and local taxes, and all other costs associated with acceptance or use of the prizes, are the sole responsibility of the winner.  Arrangements for delivery of prizes will be performed after winner validation.  LIMIT ONE (1) PRIZE PER PERSON/EMAIL ADDRESS/HOUSEHOLD. Odds of winning any prize depend on the number of entries received.  At the Sponsor’s discretion, unclaimed prizes may not be awarded.
6. General Rules:  All federal, state and local laws apply. This Promotion is void where prohibited by applicable law. Winners will be notified by email, mail or telephone.  Potential winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability and a Publicity Release within ten (10) days of attempted delivery or any prize will be forfeited (TN residents will not be required to sign a Publicity Release as a condition of winning a prize). The return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable or failure to respond to notices or return any documents in a timely manner, as determined by the Sponsor, may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be chosen.  Sponsor and Promotion Parties are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer or administration of the Promotion.  Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners’ names and likenesses for purposes of advertising and publicity without further consent or compensation, unless prohibited by law. By participating in this Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final in all matters relating to the Promotion.  Promotion Parties are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, stolen, illegible, inaccurate, damaged, incomplete, non-delivered or postage-due mail; or for printing, distribution or production errors or for technical, hardware, software, or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Promotion, or by any human, or other error, which may occur in this Promotion.  If, in the Sponsor’s sole opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the Promotion or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect entries and/or modify and/or terminate the Promotion and/or conduct a random drawing to award the prizes using all known eligible non-suspect entries received. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, entries will be declared made by the person’s name submitted at time of entry. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the Promotion or Website or acts in a disruptive manner. This Promotion is offered only in the United States and is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.  By entering, entrants irrevocably consent to the sole and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Illinois located in the county of Cook for any action, suit or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Promotion.   
7. No Liability: By participating, entrants and prize winners agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor, and other Promotion Parties, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claims, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), or expense (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in this Promotion as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from receipt, acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or participation in any promotion related activity. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
8. Use of Data: AVMA will be collecting personal data about entrants online, in accordance with its privacy policy, and will share the data with Sponsor solely for purposes of the survey and this Promotion. Please review the AVMA’s privacy policy at www.avma.org/privacy. By participating in the Promotion, entrants hereby agree to AVMA’s collection, usage, and sharing of their personal information, and acknowledge that they have read and accepted AVMA’s privacy policy.
