Dechra expands veterinary scholarship program with AVMF
Dechra Veterinary Products is strengthening its partnership with the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) by funding five new scholarships to assist veterinary students pursuing careers in analgesia, anesthesia, surgery, or critical care. This expansion brings the total number of Dechra-funded scholarships to 25—20 for veterinary students and 5 for veterinary technicians—showcasing the company’s commitment to supporting professionals across the veterinary field.
In addition to the new scholarships, eligibility has been expanded to include all U.S. veterinary medical students studying at AVMA-accredited schools abroad, further broadening the program’s reach and impact.
Each new scholarship is valued at $2,500. With this expansion, Dechra Veterinary Products is increasing its total commitment to $60,000, reinforcing its shared dedication with AVMF to invest in the future of veterinary medicine and advance both human and animal health.
