Stanton Foundation extends partnership with AVMF to advance canine clinical research
The American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) is proud to announce that the Stanton Foundation has expanded its partnership with AVMF, reaffirming a shared commitment to advancing canine health and welfare through clinical research.
As part of this renewed agreement, the Stanton Foundation has committed up to $300,000 annually to fund research that investigates cost-effective diagnostic and treatment options veterinarians can offer to clients with limited veterinary care budgets. These projects aim to ensure more dogs receive the care they need, regardless of their owners’ financial circumstances.
Improving canine health and welfare is one of Stanton Foundation’s core missions. Their primary interest is ensuring that high-quality veterinary care remains accessible to dog owners facing financial difficulties, without the need to discount or subsidize services. By expanding the evidence base for cost-effective care for common canine conditions, The Stanton Foundation funds research that helps make care more affordable while maintaining the financial stability of veterinary practices.
