Providing help when needed during times of disaster

Your contributions in action: tornado relief

Just two months ago, 10 tornadoes left a trail of destruction that spanned over 260 miles, cutting through farmland and towns from Arkansas into Kentucky. Many people lost their lives and many more were forced to rebuild everything they once had. Thanks to generous gifts from donors like you, the AVMF was able to provide a grant to the Kentucky Veterinary Medical Association Foundation. These funds will be distributed to local veterinary professionals who are providing veterinary medical treatment for abandoned and displaced pets and livestock.

A minute with Dr. Doug McInnis, Chair of the AVMF Board of Advisors

Wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, and COVID have all become common occurrences in our lives. Thanks to the donors of the AVMF, we have been able to make a positive impact by providing aid and support to those in need. Find out how your contributions made a difference in 2021.
