Since its inception, AVMF has provided grants to help veterinarians help animals through education, animal welfare, disaster relief, and research programs.
The American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) is the charitable arm of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), one of the oldest and largest veterinary medical organizations in the world.
Through the AVMF, your generous gifts help support the charitable care of injured or abandoned animals; disaster relief efforts; education; and research to help prevent, diagnose, and treat animal diseases.
“I am extremely honored and grateful for the support they have provided. This will allow me to continue my pursuit of providing veterinary care to low-income communities and shelter animals.”—Sophia Chao
