Dr. Steven Melman Foundation Dermatology Travel Grant

The AVMF, in partnership with the Dr. Stephen Melman Foundation, is proud to enhance a funding opportunity for veterinary dermatology residents, interns, and practicing veterinarians. This award supports 8 recipients’ attendance at the 2026 North American Veterinary Dermatology Forum held in Indianapolis, Indiana, from April 29 – May 2, 2026.

Eligibility requirements
  • Must be one of the following:
    • A dermatology resident at an AVMA-accredited school in the United States, or
    • An intern with a demonstrated interest in dermatology, or
    • A practicing veterinarian in the United States with a demonstrated interest in dermatology
