Above and beyond: AVMF expands the Leadership Guild

The American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF)—the charitable arm of the American Veterinary Medical Association—has expanded its Leadership Guild, a society of highly committed supporters whose generosity helps ensure a bright future for veterinarians, animals, and communities, by introducing four giving tiers.

The Leadership Guild was created in 2021 to recognize philanthropic leaders whose annual gifts are the driving force behind the Foundation’s mission. Through their support, vital programs such as disaster relief grants, veterinary student scholarships, and charitable care for animals in need make a difference in the lives of veterinarians, animals, and communities every day.

Looking ahead to future needs of the veterinary community—including an ever-growing rate of natural disasters, the rise in financial hardships faced by clients, a decrease in research funding, and the burden of student loan debt—the Leadership Guild is committed to strengthening the profession from within to rise above these challenges together.

AVMF is celebrating annual donors whose support goes above and beyond to fuel the vision of a brighter future for the veterinary community and animals everywhere.

New levels of recognition

To better reflect the breadth and depth of commitment shown by leaders within the Guild, AVMF has introduced four giving tiers based on annual gifts:

  • Member – $1,000 ($84/mth)
  • Pioneer – $2,500 ($209/mth)
  • Innovator – $5,000 ($417/mth)
  • Visionary – $10,000+ ($834+/mth)

These annual giving levels provide new opportunities to recognize donors in a more personal and intentional way, while also inspiring greater collective impact.
