The Dr. Hidayah Martinez-Jaka NAVLE Testing Scholarship

The Dr. Hidayah Martinez-Jaka NAVLE Testing Scholarship provides financial support to first-generation students taking the NAVLE exam for a second time. Eligible NAVLE applicants are invited to apply for these funds and, if selected, will be awarded a reimbursement in the amount of $400 of the test taking fee.

Eligibility requirements

• Students must be taking the NAVLE exam for a second time.
• Students must be first-generation college students
• Students must have registered and paid for their NAVLE exam prior to submitting application
• Upon selection, recipients will be required to submit receipts for their registration

Timeline

There will be 3 periods of applications for this program:

• September 15 – October 15, 2025
• February 1 – February 28, 2026
• July 1 – July 31, 2026
