An important message from the AVMF

The Coronavirus pandemic has rapidly emerged as a global health and economic crisis. All of our lives have been impacted and we understand your thoughts are focused on keeping yourself and your families safe. These are confusing, difficult times, but we are very grateful for what we have and remembering that we’re all in this together.

At the AVMF, our top priority has always been promoting the health, safety, and well-being of animals and those who care for them, both owners and those in the veterinary profession. In the face of this crisis, veterinary heath care teams are working on the front lines to ensure that essential services to preserve animal and public health remain in place.

The AVMF stands ready to support their efforts through our disaster relief and charitable care programs. These programs serve those in our communities who may be most vulnerable from the elderly or low income to those who temporarily may be unable to provide for their pets.
