Veterinary Student Scholarship Program
Through the Pfizer Animal Health Veterinary Student Scholarship Program, Pfizer and AVMF identify outstanding veterinary students capable of addressing the diversity of our changing world and the health and research needs of our society. Each year, all 2nd and 3rd year veterinary students are encouraged to apply.
In 2012, Pfizer will provide approximately 300 individual student scholarships of $2,500 each. This scholarship is open to all veterinary students in their 2nd or 3rd year of attendance at an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine in the United States or the Caribbean, regardless of their course of study and future career ambitions. Previous applicants and scholarship winners may also apply, as long as they meet the criteria.
The application deadline for the Pfizer Animal Health Scholarship has been extended to the end of day on Monday, December 5, 2011.
